Did you spot Naim's hidden joke at Bristol?

Posted by: Andrew Randle on 25 February 2001

....using a Hi-CAP to power those large flourescent-like "Naim" display lights - a great way of reducing flicker!!!!

I was wondering what those Hi-CAPs were doing on the floor - until Jonathan Gorse [correction: Steve Dempster] pointed it out.

Did anyone spot this? Nice one Naim!

I thought I mentioned the hi-cap lighting to you prior to the dem? Nice to meet you by the way (Andrew, Jonathan Ribee, Martin M & The Rico Dude).

I'm off to see the L.O.G live show on the 19th of March. Anyone else going? Wonder if they'll use selotape for the nose effects as they did years ago?

Rico/Tim - was that a Fiat Coupe you happened to be warping along in? (Sorry, bit of a spotter/petrol head roll eyes ) That Autostrada you used is pretty good for that purpose as I found out coming back this afternoon.. cool

Regards

Steve

Ah - see the recent thread on insurance and all will be made clear. To answer your previous question, "yes".

It was nice to meet you too Stephen. Glad you enjoyed the Stevie Wonder track through the DBL compact floor stander in a system the price of house in Wales set-up. smile I know I did.

I thought the main chuckle was £1500 for a four-tier Naim stand. I'd need two of those. What would I enjoy more I wonder

A. Mana/Hutter stand and a Te Kaitora/Pre-fix or

B. a Naim Stand.

Answers scribbled in a large type face on a on very small stamp please...

"Rico/Tim - was that a Fiat Coupe you happened to be warping along in? "

Yup. But I prefer to say "cruising along sedately".
