Densen B-400 to B-400 Plus ?

Has anyone had the B-400 Plus mod done yet on their Densen Beat CDP, as mine has to go back to Denmark next week, to fix the display misbehaving. And was wondering wether to have the mod done seeing as it was going back to the factory. I suppose its early days yet as the mod has just been released, and I don't suppose anyone has had it done as yet ?.

Please no suggestions to change my CDP as I am very happy with the sound of the Beat.

As if anyone here would do that!

I almost picked a new one up today but the dealer hadn't got the finish I wanted. I'll have to wait until Wednesday or Thursday next week. I'll let you know then what I think, though it might a bit late for you by then.

Do you know what price the upgrade is?

I had a B400 on loan 3 years ago. I thought the build quality wa a bit iffy to say the least. Sonically, it didn't pr&t, and a CD5 murdered it.

I have yet to hear a Plus or an XS for which you can also get an upgrade module.

Densen amps are the dog's dangly bits though (imho)

I have sent the Beat back. And I am going for the upgrade to the Plus anyway. As I stated before subject to the initial listening test originally prefered it to the CD 5. Well pleased with standard Beat. So it can only get better
