Sorry...only just seen this thread for the first time, hence my late reply!

Yes, redundancy was confirmed with effect from this Friday just gone, so gardening leave is over and I'm now officially "between jobs" as they say

Hopefully though it will be the start of something, though I must admit it doesn't quite feel like that right now.

Totally uncalled for comment - but

A very interesting article in The Times property supplement recently talking of the job opportunities and house prices in Melbourne, Australia - the writer claimed that there was accelerated immigration and house subsidies /grants for key workers - of which there are many types that are required -
