Having watched some of the other videos on this site, I'm sure this is a spoof. Quite funny though. One clue is that there's no real information about how to donate money - most unlikely if it was real.

If there is an Antichrist he is probably laughing his ass off at these US hyper-evangelicals...but serious there are streams of Catholics who believe the same thing. We live in scary times, maybe people need to examine their own prejuidices,fears and naivity.

After some googling it seems 'Pastor Shepherd' is the alter ego of a comedian. Although Im not even sure I can find concrete evidence of that.

Either way, it is rather funny.

Definitely a parody. What is scary is the social context here that makes the parody so convincing.

I seriously cannot believe how Americans allow what's going on in their country to continue ... a president comes in to make things better for everyone, but the Republicans will stop at nothing to discredit him, bring him down to stop him.

So called US democracy is to make the rich richer and the poor disenfranchised.

As soon as someone mentions helping the working family, it's called socialism and automatically evil. I watched Michael Moore's Sicko (with the necessary pinch of salt) and I felt so sad.

It's very troubling ...

Thanks for the vote of confidence. But lately I'm not so sure.

For sh*ts and giggles I recently watched a Glenn Beck segment where he "decodes" the "fascist" and "communist" symbols adorning 30 Rockefeller Center and other prominent NYC buildings. There was no mention of the well known animosities between Diego Rivera and Rockefeller in this era. Rather, his point seemed to be to implicate all of "progressive" NYC in some sort of crypto-fascist-communist anti-American conspiracy theory.

The man is alarmingly stupid, yet he has an adoring fan-base in the many (10s of?) millions.
