Naim Label for beginners

Posted by: Cryptonit on 06 November 2010

There is Audio Show in Warsaw were Naim Label has its stand with lots of CDs. You can purchase 3 or 5 albums with lower price.

I have any Naim Label record yet. Can you recommend 3 or 5 best Naim Label albums worth to buy?

Samplers from 1 to 7 are available too. Thank you for your sugestions. Fanstastic thing is they placed Naimuniti with AKG headphones and you can check each album by yourself.
Regardless Naim Label, it is pure pleasure using and listening to NaimUniti!

I give my highest recommendation to these Naim albums, for beginners or veterans:

Dreamhouse

Remember the River

Since Forever

They were selling out CDs at the end of show and especially samplers were quite cheap so I started with... all 7 samplers.

Thank you for all your sugestions: they will come next for sure.

Problem is... that after listening and... touching NaimUniti I want one for myself! I'm Naim-infected!!!

Well done! You have done exactly what I was going to suggest by getting the samplers. The label is so diverse, particularly these days what with Naim Edge, it's hard to make any definitive recommendation shortlist.

Hi Stu,

I listened to a couple of antonio forcione albums and watched the DVD. There is a phenomenal amount of talent present for sure, but at times his performance seems like a parade of guitar technique at the expense of the music. There are very few people that are as skilled with the instrument and he certainly uses it well outside the scope of the conventional, but a little bit more thought into the melody could make for an even more interesting and pleasing performance.

Regards...

P.S. I have been playing guitar in bands since I was 15 and have fallen into the technique and dexterity trap myself.
