Which one would you upgrade?

My sistem consists of the following :-
P9/17D2
82/Hicap
250
Epos ES14
all sitting on Michael Green's clamprack.

Vinyl is my primary source. I shall leave my CD player as what it is now. I am considering the following few options in the not too far future :-
1) Get a Supercap
2) Change the ES14 to an Allae.
3) Get a Naim Fraim

Price between these options isnt too far off. Which option would you think give the most significant improvement.

Any opinions most welcomed.

The bigest improvement your going to obtain is by changing the Hi-cap to the Supercap. The Supercap really opens up the 82.

The change to the fraim makes a big difference in the sound quality as well.

Best thing to do is go and spend an afternoon at your dealers and go and see which makes the biggest difference.

I hate to disagree but I would change to the Naim Allaes. The EPOS is a very nice speaker but it is outclassed by the rest of the system and you need to restore some balance. Once you've got the Allaes in place, every subsequent change (such as a Supercap, high end cartridge or phono stage) will be enormous. Have a dem and you'll soon realize...

Frank.

I have to agree the Epos 14 lacks a little resolution and the bass isnt exactly fast and furious. But what it lacks, it made up for in musicality. I was hoping putting a supercap might help improve resolution.

Looks like I need a demo to verify.
