Hello all,

Some will remember me - I used to be a forum regular a few years back but drifted away due to the 'upgradeitis' that daily forum visits would incur...

And now I come back and the whole product range has changed....I feel lost...

So can someone enlighten me - are these all new-enhanced products or is it just a cosmetic change to bring the 'new style' to the complete range?

i.e. is my CDX and CDX2 with an old cover or am I now falling behind the times. If the CDX2 is an enhanced product - how much better does it sound than the CDX? Same goes for 102 / 180 ....

Please be gentle, I am about to move house and so potential Hi-Fi spend is at an all time low !

Hmm spending some time looking closer at the main website I think I can answer some of my questions. It seems these are not merely cosmetic changes (damn)....

But on my question on comparisons....has anyone made any yet?

Don't worry Damian the annoucement of the new Naim line hasn't seemed to have effected how my system sounds at all.

Now I know some of you may not believe me but soon after the new gear was announced I had a good long listening session and I'm absolutely convinced that it sounds exactly the same....

Yes very good point Jay.....my post was somewhat tongue-in-cheek (re: upgradeitis bug). My system sounds as good as it always did also...

There is quite a bit of the info I asked to be gleaned from a number of other threads, which has made intersting reading.

Will be interesting to read people's comparative appraisal's of the new kit though...
