On the the recent "Help - no sound" thread the follwing was mentioned:

Well, I have to say, if that relates to A5, it's a new one on me. The only marking I can see is the directional marking.
So, can anyone enlighten me?

There are lugs on the Naim SA8 connector. Two lugs on one side and one larger lug on the other side. The larger lug has POS written on it.
The lugs are designed such that they will foul if you try to connect them up to a stereo Naim power amp the wrong way round.

Thanks Frank. That does explain somewhat my confusion, as I've only got Naim bananas at the amp end, the speaker, and more easily accessible end, is bare wire into the binding post.
