Which box gets the Supercap ?

Quick question. I have the following in my current setup: NAC82/Supercap (two black Snaics) feeding a SNAXO2-4/HiCap (black Snaic). However, I also have a gray SNAXO Burndy. So I could swap the HiCap to the 82 and the Supercap to the SNAXO. I am aware of the source first ethos but the 82 is not fully utilizing the Supercap and the SNAXO (w/Burndy) would be. I hate fiddling around with my system, it sounds pretty good and I'd rather listen to it - should I try it or will I be wasting my time?

Also, is there another way of connecting the 82/SNAXO so the Supercap can feed the SNAXO through the Burndy and also feed the 82's second HiCap input? Or will I be in earth loop hell?

PS. And, yes, I know, getting another Supercap and a 52 will sort it all out nicely.

Interesting question. When I had active SBLs I had the same question, and tried it both ways. The short form is that the Supercap on the 82 and the Hicap on the SNAXO absolutely devastated the other way round. (I had a black SNAXO burndy, not gray.)

I never tried powering the SNAXO and 82 from the supercap.
