Finally got a bottle to myself

I started a thread a while back on this lovely stuff. My boss (brother) kindly brought me a bottle back on return from his holiday.
Lovely . . .

£160 for a bottle of not-malt whisky. Enjoy.

Whilst not being a whisky connoisseur, I agree that Blue Label is a lovely scotch. Very smooth.
Just because its a blend, & not a malt doesn't mean its inferior. I'm sure it tastes a lot better than some malts. Whether its worth the price tag, I don't know. I've never paid for it.
Enjoy.
Matt.

Thanks Nigel, I will.

Any malt lover would lap this up. My bro' gave me the duty free sampler set (4 x 20cls), which includes blue label, and it's a very nice drop.
It's about the quality, innit ?

My brother-in-law recently brought a bottle of Blue Lable home from a trip abroad. He promptly gave it away to someone who helped him plaster his bathroom walls.!!-bastard-

The odd bottle pops up now and again on eBay at decent prices.
Usually collections being trimmed down.

Well come on Right Wing - is it worth the money? Would you recommend this dram to all?

Yes - its bloody lovely, very peaty yet so smooth, no burn at all.
Have to confess I have consumed about a third of the bottle already (with the help of my dad).
I will be making sure I always have a bottle handy . . .
