Pre Loved Naim Equipment

Does anyone out there know anything about a UK company called TomTom Audio. I see them advertising a lot of Naim gear on other sites.
I'm looking at buying some used stuff from the UK but of course would like to know a little about whoever I buy from.

Be Careful
John
The advantage of buying from a dealer is that you are buying from someone with a track record.
This man is probably legit but I find it strange that he has not given an address and has only given a mobile phone number as a point of contact.
I think that you should either buy from an established dealer or buy privately from a member of pfm who generally are well known.
Regards
Mick

High John,
This chap pops up on the 2nd hand part of Pink Fish. If you
Look Here
you'll find a topic where he has said a 'bit' about himself - and started to be cross-examined.
Personally, I've bought a reasonable amount of gear second hand, and sold some. If buying I'd rather do so from the owner, giving them a more reasonable price. This guy mentions a guarantee, but what is that really worth? If you need a guarantee I'd stick with a BADA dealer.

Many thanks to all for the responses.
Yes, I need to be a little careful as I'll be sending money from here and need someone who I know can assist with shipping what I buy to Vietnam.
Cheers,

I would give this guy a break.....
Valid as your reservations maybe I would just find out more info on the guy. If he is genuine and discouraged what a loss is that!?
Potentially yours!!

Dear Patrick,
Point taken about name, location etc. Ive had a computer for about 2 weeks now so im still finding my way around the flippin thing. I live near Boston (England) and am on paul.dimaline@btopenworld.com ps, why do i seem to be the only person on this forum with an extra icon in the bottom right corner? Have i won a prize or something?
Cheers, Paul Dimaline aka trickytree

I am currently dealing with James from Tom Tom Audio and saw this post so thought I'd give some feedback.
I've currently got a CD3.5 from him on home demonstration and found him very professional, quick to reply and very reasonable. As he runs his business from home he doesn't give an address for the obvious home security implications of the kit he stocks. Its not any dodgy cover up as the address (In Hertfordshire) is on the receipt issued.
I wouldn't hesitate to deal with him in the future. A genuine enthusiast from what I have experienced aiming to make a living from his hobby.
