Shakti Live next week

Getting to see one of my musical heroes (John McLuaghlin) next week. Remember Shakti are playing a benefit gig in Kuala Lumpur. Can't remember looking forward to a concert so much for a long time.

I love the drive and energy from the Indian percussion, and of course JL's guitar work is legendary. Should be fun.

Didn't realise he was still doing the Shakti bit. Saw him with the Mahuvishna Orchestra when he was just brilliant.

Gosh, The Mahavishnu Orchestra was a long time ago!!

Remember Shakti, the reformed "modern" version of Shakti have been recording and performing over the last 5 to 6 years, and fine stuff it is too.

I saw Shakti a couple of years ago - I had front row seats. It was heaven.
I'm envious Colin.
