Goodwin should be stripped of his knoghthood.

Fred Goodwin, former head of the Royal Bank of Scotland, should be stripped of his knighthood after refusing to give up his pension of £650,000 per year.

His actions are driven by greed, and have no place being connected with a title that bestows honour on him by this country. He quite obviously is not an honourable man.

Goodwin may have a contract that supports his taking the pension, but the actions of individuals are judged by more than pieces of paper.

MP. Michael Meacher has suggested this, I hope it is pursued.

"should be stripped of his knighthood"

or his head ......whatever happened to the good old days. a few heads on Tower Bridge would be just the sort of message these folks might be able to understand. It might make we mere mortals think the Government are treating this seriously too.

If It was me I would return the knighthood and keep the pension.

also a certain G Brown should be giving up on his salary and pension entitlement for the last 12 years of squandering the UK economy.

I'd be tempted to wind up RBS completely and stuff his pension into the drink. Unfortunately, thousands of RBS staff would suffer so it's not an option...

Adam, please don't take this the wrong way, but have you changed brand of bottled water recently? Winker Its just that your recent posts here and in other threads have a, shall we say, rather interesting slant to them.
