Naim Interconnect not Shield

Was try to clean all my connections and had a chance to peep in the grey SNAIC, they are just plain vanilla strand wires soldered to the connectors.

Have anyone tried using a shield cable? I think this would benefit the signal lead but no impact to the DC lead.............

Both old (4/5 Pin) grey snaics, and the interconnects are shielded.

You have to look a little deeper (i.e. under the heatshrink of the SNAICS...)

Is the shiled you are talking about wrapping the 4 conductors or are each conductor individually shield?
