I can relate to the ixo comments, with my current setup (cdi/82/2*hicaps/ixo/2*140s/sbls), i've found a good balance but feel the snaxo will add the further realism i want (without mid-term resorting to the cds2), i do feel the ixo is a current bottle-neck.
Plus a local dealer has a snaxo (well i hope he still has), however in one of the threads it mentions i might be able to source a returned one from naim ?

At the time, that's how my dealer put it when I asked his opinion about what to upgrade next, and I believe he was right.
I remember reading about a "returned unit" somewhere but haven't a clue what that was about. Good luck!

Switching to the SNAXO made a vast league of difference, I really do not think I would have bought SBL's on the basis of the performance with the IXO, or at least I would have gone 'back' to passive. The IXO made things feel muddy and compressed, all the life returned with SNAXO/Hi-Cap. Looking at your profile I have to recommend it wholeheartedly. Naim themselves say that IXO and SBL 'works' but is not specifically recommended.
