The Darkness

My son has the album so I played it the other day. I kept thinking of different bands.A review on Ceefax warned about having precious glassware exposed to the singers voice.
They seem to have made a huge impact though. Colin (son) saw them at Glastonbury and was very impressed (I think his fave). The other side of this "metal/rock" revival means he keeps knicking my albums to put tracks on his "favourite " compilations he burns.
BTW I think Darkness are taking the piss as well,but they are probably going to make a load of money as well, so who's the joke on?

If you wondering into a pub on a Saturday night in some provincial town in East Anglie and saw them doing their thing you'd have a laugh, be entertained and instantly forget about them. Which is exaclty what they've been doing for the last 10 years. This bout of popularity has come about from a bunch of London based muso hacks enjoying their retro novelty act "ironically" which just makes the whole thing even more annoying. Bet you £20 the next album flops and they are gone by this time next year.

Ironically shite is still shite. They are the new Datsuns.

Living in the East i feel that i have a duty to spk up for these guys, i agree the music ain't that great, but they are taking the piss, it's a regional thing, like my other local band Cradle of Filth, crap music, v funny to watch!!
