QUIEX Pressings

Does anyone know if you have to change the VTA for a 200gm QUIEX pressing as apposed to a 180gm due to the increased thickness??

Might be worth posting in HiFi corner on this one.

If one raises the arm height for the 200gr, then it's different for the 180gr. Which one's best? One can't change it for every lp.

I've set mine to be parallel for the 200gr. At least it's slightly pointing down for the thinner lp's, which is better for me.

I wouldn't bother. It's the tracking angle of the lathe that you are trying to reproduce (and which are all over the place in specification) so a couple of mm for the vinyl will make little general difference.

I just put them on my LP12 and play them.
Surely the best answer!
