CDX Power Supply Cable Question

I recently bought a CDX and CDPS, both of which came with Burndy cables. One cable is marked NA XPS 46, the other CDPS / CDSII.

Looking at the cables they seem to be different, I am currently using the CDPS cable but wondered if I can use the XPS cable ? Will I damage the CDX if I use it ?

Hi Matt,

Thanks for the response. The XPS burndy is grey and not black, the label says NA XPS - 46 but there is no serial number.

I bought the XPS/CDPS at an auction (The one in Bedford) and I therefore can't ask anyone about the history.

Will a black burndy improve the sound when it is only powering the CDX and not taking audio signals ?

Do you know what damage I might do if I try the XPS cable ? I would be interested the compare both cables but don't want to damagae anything !
