Where to Register Naim Equipment Online ?

Posted by: JosephR on 28 September 2001

I vaguely remember reading somewhere about registering one's Naim equipment online. I couldn't find such a link on the Naim website. Can anyone link me to there ?

Joseph

On the Naim main website 'home page', select
'contact'. When this is actioned select 'contact'
again and you will get a pull down menu. Select
'register your product'

Thanks, I never clicked on that button, I thought it was just some email id or address for contacting Naim ...

If I recall, when you buy new, there is a form somewhere in the packaging for you to fill in and send by *snail mail*.
I can't remember if I actually did it, but I do know that I received the Naim annual magazine/newsletter yesterday morning via (second-class) *snail mail* ! wink
I think must have sent them something, and it wasn't via the registration option here...

"(second-class) *snail mail"
You do not have a full naim system.

Is it possible (or necessary) to register 2nd hand naim equipment, last time I tried, i could only find the new models.

Mr Stephenson,
As I am not the proud owner wink of a full Naim system, choosing instead to cherry-pick for my somewhat individualistic mongrel system, it must surely be in your interests to get your mag out to the likes of me first, as I may yet change my mind...
I wasn't conscious of any pecking order regarding the delivery of your publication to your gracious punters - some more gracious than others! big grin
I take it that aspiring to own a CDS2, but perhaps not much else from the Naim stable, does not qualify me for higher approved status in the mind of a Hawkeye wink , than the proud owner of, say CD5/ Nait/NACA5/Intros - a fine system indeed, but I still prefer my own. wink

lighten up! we send out 20,000 so they all go 2nd class saves a few quid on postage!time is not an issue.

I'm not that daft!
I am fully aware of how the postal srvice can be somewhat inconsistent, as well as the (probable) volume of mags you have to get out.
I am also aware that you would probably prefer me to own an all-Naim system, and I don't contest this.
A bit of leg-pulling has worked both ways! smile

What do you think of the Naim sticker that came with the mag'? I think it's pretty smart. Fits nicely in the back window of my car.

Brian,

I think if you agree to have the Naim logo emblazened all the way down the side of your car you should get a 10% discount on all new Naim products.

Me neither, and I drive a taxi!
One for my own car, and one for the cab would be just fine! smile
