Perhaps this would be an appropriate location for some kind soul to explain to me, very simply, where we are in terms of internet music devices, and what to buy.
I'm currently tempted by the Russ Andrews/Logitech device which transmits your PC music to your hifi, apparently via Bluetooth. I gather this isn't the best sound available but will at least give you exactly what you've got running on your PC - last night's Late Junction from Radio 3 for example. I'll mainly be using something for internet radio, stored and live, rather than MP3 files etc. Can this device do this? And why does it look like a toy studio amplifier?

I know very little of the Squeezebox/wi-fi streaming devices, though having read the page by the Beeb and looked at the SD site this looks very interesting indeed.
I notice the device uses super-regulators and seems aimed at those who wish to stream uncompressed music to it i.e. Me!
Thanks for posting, chaps.
Cheers!
Rich.
P.S. Did any of the ladies get back to you, Warwick?
