new acquisition - NAT 01 & 62 question

Yippieh!!!!!!!

I just purchased a s/h NAT 01 - build in 92/93 - for € 1200 (735 GBP)!!!!
Endless days will pass until the boxes arrive - have to pay first (trust demanded -> Ken's thread), after evrything is cleared and influenced by me being away whole next week, can't wait to unpack, install and then listen!!
This is a happy Guido!!!
Purchased a s/h 62, 90 + snaps on the weekend, too, together with a Marantz CD 67 SE this is the system for my father's living room - Guido playing the naim emissary....
Unhooked yesterday the CDI and gave the 62/90/snaps a listen: WOW!
Although it is the old version (single rail snaps with the old press-to-lock snaics) the sound from cold was marvellous - at a fraction of the cost very similar to the perfomance the 102/hi/psc/180 delivers, the 102 being more refined, a little smoother but boy this little combo rocks! (bought for 400 €, 245 GBP)
A quick question:
Daddy does not have a tt, so CD and tuner being the only source. At the moment the 62 has K boards on board. Is it worth, pulling them? If yes, which of them are they?
With the phono boards pulled/not in use, is there any use in dual railing the snaps? In the moment the snaps only has 4 pin outs, is the change to 5 pin lockring connectors expensive? As I still have my old grey snaics this could be a cheap change upgrade.
a nat 01...

On a 62, everything is on the main board except the phonos. Take 'em out. With no phono, there is no need for dual railing, AFAIK.
