Recapping at Dimexs

Posted by: Ross Hahn on 20 December 2002

Does anyone know how long it typically takes Dimexs in Montreal to perform a recap? They've had my recently acquired NAC 62 for three weeks (for a recap and service to fix the input selector switch). I know these things take time but they haven't responded to my emails so I thought I'd ask here. Looks like Christmas will be quiet this year!

Ross,
It has been finalized today (friday), it is now on test/burn in. It should be shipped on Monday, you should have it on tuesday. Christmas will be musical.
Recap are very popular these days, we had tons of units to do. All Canada wants a recap.
And frankly, we were short on parts.
The standard delay is generally a week plus shipping.
Sorry for the delay.

Simon, Michael and Emmanuel, thank you for your speedy replies. I've been lurking here for quite a while and find this forum incredibly useful. I can't wait to get my music back although I suppose I'll have to endure a warm-up / burn-in period. My cheapo DVD system (sistem?) and my Tivoli radio have been getting quite a workout lately but it's just not the same!

Manu, I sent you an email with a couple of questions.

Thanks again,

Ross
