SL2 owner need help

In owners manual is located on page 4:
Adjust the spikes so that the cabinets are upright (a small spirit level will help)
My English is not very good. Could you explain to me, what here meant:
(a small spirit level will help)
How/as-largely is small in mm measured?

For once, I'd like to post in German:

Lieber Ulrich,

am besten nimmst Du eine Libelle. Das Oberteil Deiner Lautsprecher ist nicht flach, deshalb kann eine normale Wasserwaage schlecht angesetzt werden. Wenn Du dennoch eine normale Wasserwaage nimmst, sollte diese wahrscheinlich nicht länger als 10 cm sein.

Man könnte den Lautsprecher auch ins Wasser bringen, bevor man das obere Gehäuse auf das untere setzt. Da das untere Gehäuse eine flache Oberseite hat, kann man dazu eine normale Wasserwaage verwenden.

You could also get the speaker level before fitting the upper cabinet onto the lower one. Since the top of the lower cabinet is flat, you could use a normal spirit level.
