addictions

Does that also happens to you sometimes:
as I listen to certain kind of music, I get then hooked on a specific style like Rock, Jazz-Rock, Folk, Folk-Rock and so on.
Then in that music style I cant get enough listening to the same Bands. Right now I am addicted to Brian Auger, with or withouth Julie Driscoll, and I got me quiet a pile of CDs from that artist. The groovy and dynamic sound of the hammond organ just got me...
Then next week it might be Fairport Convention, then I go on to Richard Thompson...
From Miles Davis to George Duke, and that leads me to Zappa.
Cant imagine a life without music

cheers

Thanks

I'll never get addicted to any type of folk music, unless Country counts. Right now I've been getting into African Soweto and Nigerian Afro Pop. This after going on a Stockhausen binge. Bought a ton of his LP's online, now that's over.

Also a lot of old favorites on my TT lately, Motown, Shirells, Supremes, Martha and the Vandells, Drifters (though they recorded for Atlantic). Also the Who (???). With all the Beatles talk I think I'll try to buy some of the early LP's online if they aren't too expensive.
Beatles 65, Second Album ect ect...

If it hadn't been for Cotton-Eye Joe
I'dve been married long time ago
Where did you come from where did you go
Where did you come from Cotton-Eye Joe
