Have got tickets to see old Slowhand at the RAH next month.
Hope he features his more organic real stuff and not the Phil Collins era stuff from the 80s.

I used to think that H and sure the tickets are not cheap. But compared with some of the other big tours that have been sold recently these aren't that bad - and he does have the very best of musicians in his band.

Haven't seen him recently but I have heard that he seems to have the fire back in his belly on his last couple of tours.

We'll be there on the Saturday night. Lucky enough to have seats in the centre of the front row. Should be a great night. Eric's not big on audience interaction but he lets his hands and his various Strats talk for him, and in that he is supremely eloquent.

The other thing I like about Eric despite his now stable life he's still willing to play venues like the RAH rather than just the big outdoor bashes and his world tours just go on and on. Still a great journeyman.
