Good call. Ordered!
I wonder which "discerning" town in England was giving them stick?

This came from the company who ship the Eels CD:
Your CD has been gently taken from our CD Baby shelves with sterilized contamination-free gloves and placed onto a satin pillow.
A team of 50 employees inspected your CD and polished it to make sure it was in the best possible condition before mailing.
Our packing specialist from Japan lit a candle and a hush fell over the crowd as he put your CD into the finest gold-lined box that money can buy.
We all had a wonderful celebration afterwards and the whole party marched down the street to the post office where the entire town of Portland waved 'Bon Voyage!' to your package, on its way to you, in our private CD Baby jet on this day, Tuesday, July 16th.
I hope you had a wonderful time shopping at CD Baby. We sure did.
Your picture is on our wall as 'Customer of the Year'. We're all exhausted but can't wait for you to come back to CDBABY.COM!!

But they said I was 'customer of the year'! Oh well.
Did you take up the option of shipping the CD without the case? I wasn't sure it would survive the trip so played safe.

I'm customer of the year and I've got the associated correspondence to prove it...
Thanks for the info, Bosh.

Rather hung-over and generally the worse for wear this morning, so I eased my way into the day with a gentle Mendelssohn quartet on the radio.
Decided I wasn't up to this new Eels (which arrived this morning) so I thought I'd follow up with Cinematic Orchestra instead. Only to find that, by the time I'd shuffled over to the CD player I'd picked up the Eels anyway.
I couldn't be bothered to trek all the way back so I popped it in.
It's excellent. Really good recording and by the time they launched into an extended "Not Ready Yet", the volume was up and the hang-over forgotten.
There's something about the extra intensity the live show has that works very well with the mood of the Electro-Shock Blues material.
By the way, there's a secret track - another version of "My Beloved Monster" that morphs into The Temptations "My Girl".
