question on SL 2

Hello there again,
I've got a question about the SL 2.
My current system is CDX, XPS (just arrived, one week old now!) 102 hi, naps, 180, Sonus Faber Electa Amator 2.
Is the 180 enough to drive the SL 2 well?
Thanks Michel

in the earlier demos of the SL2, naim were quoting the 250 as the minimum amp to drive the SL2.
looking at your system though, you'd probably be better of looking at your electronics before you change the speakers. maybe a CDS2, or 82. if you check out loot you should find some good 2nd hand bargains, but with the new naim range coming out soon, you should get some good deals from your dealer.
if you are intent on changing the speakers and like the "naim sound" you could do a lot worse than the SBL's which will easily be driven by your 180.
cheers

In my experience the sbl's require a minimum of a 82/180 to really sound listenable....I know some people run them off nait 2's and 140's etc.
If the SL2's are going to be an advance on the sbl I think an 82/180 would be a minimum...too my ears anyway.
I owned the 102 hicap napsc 180 and with sbl's soon shifted to an 82 hicap.
The sbl's are rather revealing/fussy about what it's connected to.

There is no question.
