I Had No Idea!

According to a news report a monkey has just died in Japan aged 53 years.
However.. Cheeta is still alive and turns 74 this year. He has suvived all other cast members of the Tarzan films of the 30's and 40's and is the oldest non-human primate alive today. I hope he is still reaping royalties for past performances.

After watching the Super Volcano Fact/Fiction/Documentary last night I have decided to leave Yellowstone National park and indeed the whole USA off my travel itinary. The scary part is that it is as they say " all true, it just hasn't happened yet"
The theory is that there is a huge miasma of lava under the park, which is well overdue to erupt, and will make Mt. St. Helens look comparitively speaking like a tom thumb.
There will be very little that can be done as the magnitude of the eruption will dwarf anything that mankind can cope with.
