Chelsea to win it innit.

Tractor Boys to have an even better season than the last one - Jim Magilton to re-iterate he's staying and is not interested in the Man Utd job.
The Daggers to run away with League Two and Forest Green Rovers to win the Alliance.
The return of the Watney and Texaco cups.
The winners of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy to get a Champions League place.
Oh and Steve Bennett to get two consecutive decisions right - well we're all allowed one ridiculous suggestion.

Agreed, it was a good year in 1974, our last little remembered domestic trophy.
The Zenith Data Systems Cup now there was another cracking competion (until knocked out by Tranmere).

Looks like we have a new owner as well as a new manager. It is never dull at Newcastle.
Sorry before someone contradicts that statement, I meant off the pitch.

Once upon a time this forum was populated by normal people not obsessed with this Premiership nonsense.
Now, when do Wrexham go to Morecombe?
This season I will be happy to finish mid-table and for our supporters trust to sort themselves out and edge closer to purchasing equity in my club. Perhaps some of you fans of pointlessly rich business conglomorates (whatever happened to the sport eh?) may care to encourage your clubs to donate to the grass roots you are so hell bent on killing?

thought this bit of football news on sky was rather interesting............
it seems that on the day that sheff utd took their infamous case to the high court they broke premier rules by telling watford they could not play a former player against them (think his name is cabba) ? when this was not the case and he WAS allowed to play!!
and during the all important final end of season run in too.

I would like to hope so, provided they can get rid of a few of the expensive waste of skins they bough last summer.
Andy Shev is possibly going back to Milan, lets hope that Ballack goes back to Germany, and we can then get players who try and put the excitement back into the team.
Blue is colour, and beating the Hammers is the game (just seeing if you are awake Scotty)

Good on you Scotty.
It is only because we bought some of your best players a while ago such as Frank Lampard, Joe Cole.

I seem to remember the Hammers were only to glad to see them go with retorts of Fatty Lamps and they felt that Joe Cole would always flatter to deceive. Some decent guidance from Ranieri and Mourinho (along with some maturity) has turned them into more complete players.
I hope Sheva does stay, DD was pretty poor his first season and look at him now. Same with Henry at Arsenal. I don't think you can just become a bad player and I figure most of his issues are due to settling in the UK, rather than his on pitch skills. If he can't settle than he really should return to Italy for his own sake.
Ballack? F*ck 'im. What a lazy, talentless, boring, uninspiring waste of space. The only worse player is the Dutchman, Fullabooze. He managed one decent game all season (albeit against Barca by containing Ronaldinho). Still, we did play better against Arsenal after he got himself sent off, so he's not all bad. Comes to something when the manager states publicly that he would rather play his 30 goal forward in the back line than stick him in! Probably did his confidence no end of good that one...Mikel and Kalou have looked the part in the second half of the season though. And hopefully this season Essien can play in midfield.

we view lumpalard in the same way as you view ballack- lazy and useless! (at least he was at whu) now joey - i and every west ham fan do miss him a lot and would love to have him back.
but lumpalards dad, frank senior slagged us off behind our backs and thats why hes hated.
the same goes for ince(judas) he wore a manc shirt when a hammer. defoe(1 greedy basdard) handed in a transfer request on the very next day that we were relegated. now all of these players cant understand why the fans hate them ?
probably because their loyalty standards are very low compared to the die hard fans and partly because they are thick. ANY FANS WOULD REACT THE SAME.
whilst on this point i wouldnt mind rio back either.
AND YOU KNOW WHERE YOUR BLUE FLAG GOES!

Utter disgrace, Hammers should have gone down, what they did was blatant breach of rules. Utd also broke rules. Teams in the prem have had points deducted for less.
The top four will be an interesting fight this year, man utd have managed to buy in some talent/potential, Arsenal look all over the place, chelsea, if they lose lampard could struggle, liverpool, can they put a consistant run together?! Spurs, can they push for the fourth place?
I really hope Spurs do just to shut up Andy Gray and Sky who just love the established top four!
