H'mmm, I wonder who we're playing that day?!!

I am - even like the colours you play in Smile

It'd be great to see Everton get 4th spot and win that EUFA cup. I think David Moyes is a great manager and an all round good guy. Everton are also a great team to watch, but that's because they never do anything the easy way (a bit like my team), except for that last EUFA encounter, of course.

Very impressed with Yakubu.

Arsenal must be good to beat two teams in one night!

I must have watched the wrong match - saw the other side (Lyon) - really boring, but kept switching to Ceefax to keep an eye on the Championship results - it wasn't good.

I'm not keen on the San Siro myself - we played there a few years ago and got knocked out.

Still good luck to the British teams that got through.

20th March 1984 was a good day.

4th July 2007 was another.

£26.5 million well spent.

Enthusiasm, Scotty? Confidence? More like wishful thinking! And look where that got me. Your lot ain't done me no favours 'ere, 'ave they? But I wasn't that foolish to put a few quid on a Hammers victory.........nah - I don't GIVE money to the bookies! Never mind, good luck against Spurs on Sunday.
In the meantime.............we've just got the small matter of a UEFA Cup away leg against Fiorentina tomorrow night! Eek

Erm.....24/11/2007 .....We don't half owe you toffee's one!

We are a far better side at home (let's face it we'd be down there with the Rams if away form was the criteria!)

Keano hasn't been able to play his first choice side for ONE game this season (honestly!) but I think everyone (inc Carlos Edwards) MAY be fit on Sunday ...a cracking game awaits methinks (hopes?)

Dave,
Agreed mate, agreed. Last 2 games, not scored a goal & let in 8. Admittedly we played 2 good teams that are still very motivated towards targets.
Is there a danger that psychologically the hammers have thought "right,we've got 40 points,we've escaped the drop. Can't be arsed to ponce around in the inter-toto cup" & switched off a bit?
We need a good performance in the next game & to string 2 consecutive wins together would be nice, wouldn't it?
Matt.

Curbishley did say that West Ham were safe and could now play more open and entertaining football - there was an Irons fan talking about it on the radio and complaining he was not happy paying for a season ticket to see Carlton Cole upfront on his own - he blamed the manager for the style of play. Haven't seen much of West Ham lately, but always associate them with trying to play good attacking football that entertained the fans, lots of passing and always looking to create things - has that changed?

I wouldn't worry about a couple of heavy defeats though - it happens. The important thing is to keep playing and going forward.

How's Mark Noble playing?
Posted on: 06 March 2008 by scottyhammer
OK HERES MY VIEWS,

CURBISHLEY: is very negative - plays systems/formations to defend, counter attack with one up front. moves ball sideways or back. NEGATIVE!

BOA MORTE: (Rigamortis) im sorry he is shit - get rid !

LUCAS NEILL: worst captain ever....runs with ball upfield and cant be bothered to run back when he loses the ball, which is frequently.

ASHTON: mans a disgrace ! how can a professional footballer return from injury 2/3 stone overweight ? i personally dont think hes fit enough to play.

MARK NOBLE: the ray of light at the end of a very long tunnel.......CLASS ! So i suppose hell be sold soon !!

f*****g club drives me up the wall at times!

end of rant but you did ask. Red Face

Dave,
Mate, I WISH WISH WISH you were wrong.
But I don't think you are.
I thought Curbs used to play 2 up front at home, & only 1 up front away, which was not a bad idea, but its not really panned out that way.
I hope that Noble, being a true born & bred Hammer will stay loyal, but we know that'll only go so far.
A selling club we shall be.
Lets face it, we've been either unlucky or very poor when buying, haven't we. Roll Eyes
Matt.

i think curbishleys days are numbered myself...
the fans just dont want "charlton football" over west ham.
