It would be my favoured match up, Jet.
Something tells me Mark couldn't stand another red parade around Liverpool with that big-eared metal vase, though!![]()
IS RIGHT - whatever Abramovich paid John Arne Riise I'll match for the final!

Mark
P.S. But here's hoping they don't even get to Moscow. Still, not so far for the majority of their fans to travel from Norway.....lol!

Blimey that was a let off for United. Still it makes it very much 'squeaky bum time' for th erun in. I actually fancy Chelsea to do it because United are having a real wobble at the moment. If Chelseas beat them the pressure will really be on.

I enjoyed it!
Although the old Chelsea trait of being able to self destruct when in total control almost came to a head...

I can't help thinking that 0-0 was a better result for Barcelona. No away goals conceded, all they need to do is go to Old Trafford and score. It reminds me of the semi-final a few years ago when United drew 0-0 with Real Madrid and then lost at Old Trafford 1-3.
As I said, Chelsea v Barcelona final.

See?!!

You might yet be half right on your prediction.
By the way I could be wrong but I expect that the United loss to Real Madrid at Old Trafford you were thinking about was the quarter final in 2000 and the score in that game was 2-3.

You could well be right Chris. I seem to remember that Steve McManaman was playing in that game.

I think that the finalists allocation of tickets is around 20,500 each.
So the usual dearth of Chelsea away supporters will either have to take a lot of their family with them or (more likely) Abromovich will get his boys in.

If anyone can get:
Tickets
Flights
Accomodation
Visas
And all for less than about £2000. They'll be lucky. Ridiculous place to hold a European Cup Final.

Whilst I don't usually about things like carbon footprints, does this really make any sense? Compensate Moscow hold it at Millenium stadium or Parc de Prince or something. Call a Force Majeure on this one.

It has a low carbon footprint because most of the Man U supporters already live in Moscow, I've never met one from Manchester. And Mr Abramovitch is from those parts. It's the first example of this scheme to take the Premier League out and about
Meanwhile back in the `Championship ...............

And Zenit St Peter's Burg are in EUFA cup final - so all the Russian supporters are going to Manchester.

And to think we (Everton!) beat them in the group stages.......

Does that mean that you won't be going?
I've decided to hold off on the Superline v Keel demo that I was thinking of doing!

Jesus, after the money I've laid out so far this year, I'd have to have my head examined. And I'm rather attached to my balls and I'd like them to stay where they are right now.
