...were very very good indeed. Very good choice of songs, some which were tastefully altered and lengthened to bring a few surprises.

Brill gig, hopefully I won't have to wait 23 years until the next time I see em.

Leave from some where else then. Roll Eyes

Is Witton too far away? My youngest used to go there for the music college which SHE says is close by the stadium.

Howard
It doesn't make much difference. It's a sea of people whichever way we go. But taking the car is deffo not an option!

What a great gig! Absolutely tremendous performance. A really memorable night. Lots of the more obscure album tracks as well as the hits. All 3 guys played their socks off. And we were home before midnight! Support were Maximo Park, who worked hard but didn't particularly do it for me, old fart that I have clearly become!

Apparently the "young people" like Maximo Park according to my son. Winker Big Grin
Glad you enjoyed it SWMBO was not too keen when the tickets went on sale.
Sounded like a slightly better journey this time?

Yes not too bad thanks Howard. Worse for people heading back into London, by the look of the queues. Maximo Park...my old fart status clearly confirmed! One song seemed remarkably like another, but then that's what my father said about the music I liked in the 60s. Twas ever thus!
