NAPSC Support

Posted by: Naheed on 09 September 2001

Anyone out there tried supporting their NAPSC (away from the main rack) ???

I played around yesterday with a sheet of glass and a couple of spikes, results are as follows:

NAPSC - on the floor
Superb dynamics, timing, etc.., but the bottom end can sound thin (sometimes);

NAPSC - on the main rack
Supressed dynamics, but gave that extra low-end grunt;

NAPSC - supported away from main rack
Dynamics maintained, but the slightly agressive edge has been removed, and low-end grunt has improved.

Jay, have'nt tried that combo, although it is on Mana Glass !!!

Seriously though the NAPSC does seem to respond well being supported...

Surely the same logic we apply to a **cap should apply here ???

I wonder whether Mana could put together a little NAPSC reference table for us?

I believe you can buy a Power Supply table...
