Nait2 and Headline?

Posted by: PflasterMan on 07 September 2003

Hi

for personal reasons I couldn't hear at my preferred levels (real, real loud ;-) any longer, so I consider to switch to the use of headphones.

Now my question: Is is possible to use the new Headline with a non-modified Nait2 - e.g. from Tape-In/Out? Has anyone experience with this subject?

The study of the owners manuals and the connection-guide didn't get me sure, if this is possible or if a pre-out is needed to drive the headline correctly.

Besides, do you recommend the Ergo 2 Headphone?

Cheers,

PM

Hi

I am running a headline of a NAIT 3 via the tape out and I am using Senheiser HD580's. These can be found regularly on ebay for £100.00 and are amazing cans, usually retailing for £200.00. They are like having SBL's strapped to your ears, utterly transparent and unforgiving, bu massivley musical. They are also capable of handling the absurd vlume loads of a Headline without distortion.

Since you have a FC2, this can power both the CD5 and the Headline at the same time.

I believe that a headline can also be powered by an NAPSC?

cheers, Martin
