NACA5 to Amplifier Connections

Posted by: Jack911 on 22 January 2004

Well I just started connecting up my first Naim system; however, when I plugged the NACA5 into the amplifier I noticed that the cable tends to leave the amp vertically straight down.

So I have to locate the amp so it sits right at the back of the rack. This seems a little strange to me, do Naim make another type of connector where the cable leaves at a (partially) horizontal angle or should I just go and buy some new banana plugs?

What you can do is heat up the ends of the cable with a hairdryer so you can then bend them into the direction you want.

Handy tip there from my dealer!
