Although I'd heard her in passing, I've recently done some serious listening to young Polly, and she is rather good.
Found her as a result of my new, possibly bizarre, practice of picking up a CD at random from the local library each day, to listen to at lunchtime on a walkman. Forces me to listen all the way through at least once and I'm discovering some interesting music that I'd previously missed.
Had some nasty surpises too, yerterday was Nickelback, shudder.......

"This is how yoooooooooooooo remind me..."

Awful song, but potentially perfect "in the style of a club singer".

Don't miss the track "Memphis" which was written for Jeff Buckley. It's on the b-side of the Good Fortune CDS I think and is quite marvellous. Well worth buying the single for.
