Determining the age of a component with serial #
Posted by: ClaudeP on 29 June 2003
Well, stupid question of the day...
I've been reading many times on this forum that finding the age of a component is easy if one has the serial #.
I am considering buying a NAPSC for my 102 - the seller says the serial # is 112753.
Where do I go from there?

Claude,
Go to the main Naim web site, select products, then history, then click on the red "here" at the top of the history page.

1995 is the year of manufacture.
:-)
Computers are supposed to work on 1's and 0's - in other words "Yes" or "No" - why does mine frequently say "Maybe"?......

Hi Claude,
I hope you get a very good deal on it, 'cause:
It is not far from a recap need,
The new NAPSC is much better.

Thanks Manu - very useful as usual. The deal is $250 USD - how does that sound?
PS Will you be at the store today?
