Play one track and stop on CD player

It would be nice to have a button on a CD
player to say 'just play this track'.

I often want to just play one track from an
album and it's annoying to have to stop at the
end of it.

p.s. I know I can do this with the various
program options but it would be a nice 'single
button' option.

Choose the track you like.

Hit "Prog" button.

Hit "Play" button.

(Hit "Repeat" button.)

That's not hard!

Steven is right - it's hidden as the prog button.

Select the track you want - hit Prog before you hit play.

My very first CD player was a Technics (hey I know, but it was all I could afford). It had a useful function called "autocue", which would pause or stop the disc once a track was finished.

It was nice when I couldn't be bothered with programming and wanted to automatically stop at the end of the track.
