Diamonds on the Inside

Just purchased this, lovely recording but seems to jitter one or two bars into each track. Has anyone else experienced this ? It's the first "Copy Control" disk I have bought, so not sure if that has anything to do with it.... ?

Cheers

John,

Yes, it's caused by the copy control software (should be 9 seconds into every track).

I bought my copy from A&B Sound in Canada and contacted EMI Canada via their website ("Technical Queries" or something like that), doing the "not Red Book" spiel. They actually apologized for the "inconvenience" and told me they would try to find a suitable replacement.

It took them six weeks, but they actually got back to me and sent me a non-protected pressing by UPS! Makes you wonder why they don't just sell proper audio CDs in the first place. All in all, it must have cost them quite a bit to provide pissed-off customers with replacements.

The album is OK, but I find his first three much, much better.

Thanks, that clears that up. Now I'm off to track down EMI New Zealand....
