PHILISTINES.

Grab a copy of one those albums you never know you might actually enter the 21st century, even Hendrix was thought of as way out in his time so just put yourself in that frame of mind and bang maybe a epithany might ensue. Go for The Melvins first I would advise.

I knew that spending time off drinking Jagermeister could cause serious damages.

Drinking that stuff (or even smelling it) should put you off drinking forever!

But even the guy with the beer can doesn't look so smart.
It's not a matter of drinks here i'm afraid.

But are they sludge drone or neofolk/martial industrial John? Winker

The wonderful thing about music is there is something for everyone. However at my age I'd rather spend time relistening to the stuff that has filled my first 58 years. Despite Dean's patronising comments my tastes (and I suspect Howard's) are reasonably eclectic. My son exposes me to all manner of new genres but I struggle to be able to draw a clear distinction between the. By the way, for those who care about keeping up to date search out Rex Beaston's latest work.

I'll second Chris' comments. I have discovered many diverse musical styles in my (extra 3) years, I seem to think I have enough. Certainly with the genres in question, the names are enough to have me listening elsewhere.
I too have a young person (26) who offers me a chance of a listen, to his latest purchases. Elbow is the best of his recent attempts.
Passed successes include Muse ,RHCP and Counting Crows.
Fortunately he seems not have fallen for any of these weird other genres. Razz

makes sense. They look like a trash, folk metal or a viking metal band

May be " PAST successes include Muse ,RHCP and Counting Crows." would be better?
