Anyone has done the twist?

It's common knowledge that twisting the cables will reject RFI in signals and on speaker cables especially.

Has anyone done that on Naim system?

Don't.
Twisting a cable change it's caracteristic impedance. Keep the NACA5 as it is.

My system has recently developed some RFI. It only comes from the right speaker is very quiet and sounds like Norwegian radio (I can just detect it in a quiet room).

Now this didn't happen when I had my speaker cable all over the floor but mostly curled in a loop. It is since I have tidied it away and done up the excess into a series of very tight folds so the cable doubles back on itself and held it there with a couple of plastic cable ties.

Could it be this that is giving me the RFI?

System is CDSII/52/super/hicap/naxo2-4/2*250/credos (with passive x-over removed)also LP12/ITTOK/Karma/ Creek 3140 tuner/ Sony TCKA6ES cassette and Sony DTC700 DAT

Or something like that.

The Chord Anthem interconnects come looking like pigtails in plaits.

I wonder if Naca6 will be anything like that...

Cheers,

Steve.
