I can't remember which Rock is which. I had a Rock with RB300, and was not at all pleased to find that when used as recommended it was beaten by a Rega Planar 3. The Rega arm doesn't seem to suit the Rock's silicone damping trough - it benefits far less from it than inferior arms do. I would have bought mine with a Heybrook arm, which sounded great with the damping trough and terrible otherwise, but they stopped making them.
My Rock had three half squash balls for feet, and was black. It was not the very first type of Rock, but I don't think its name included a "Mk II" or higher. It's conceivable that the first one was the Townsend Rock Mk 1 and mine was the Elite Rock Mk 1. The original Rock was supposed to be better than mine but I never heard one.
Actually, mine was one of the first whose platter's outer material was plastic rather than metal but there was no change in the model name in the shift from metal to plastic.
If you can get a picture of it I can tell you if it's the kind I had.
