First Philips cd player in 1979 called Pinkeltje

Received this link of a page showing the first Philips cd player, a prototype called Pinkeltje.
Really like those first cd's which still look like vinyl with the text on the innerside of the cd.

I had one of the first Phillips production models which I got for free as the guy couldn't wait for me to fix it so went and bought another.

I guess the search function is simply attached directly to the laser, just drag it along?

Fantastic!

I have owned this player from new and it still works very well. Doesn't sound bad either, plus...it has an optical out!
