Which would give best bang for the buck: new Flatcap2 suppling both Nait and Stageline or used Hicap on the Stageline? TT is Spacedeck(with heavy platter upgrade)/Spacearm/Dyn 10x4. No plans to change anything else except cartridge.

Tough one,
1) Used Hicap for the Stageline - the Hicap is better than an Flatcap and therefore you will improve your source and the sound will be better.
2) Used Hicap for the Nait - Power the Preamp stage of the Nait with a HIcap everything sounds better (CD and LP) and plug your stageline into the powered output of the Nait, and it also improves as the preamp stage fo the Nait is being powered by the Hicap.
I am guessing that both of these options would be better than the Flatcap 2 option. But you need to do the dem.
I can lend you the Hicap that powers my prefix when I move (my system will be powered down) for a couple of days so you can see if works and is better
