Listener magazine reborn?
Posted by: Dan M on 24 September 2002
I was told by the people at Listener that requests regarding subscriptions should be directed to Audiophile Voice. It wasnt clear to me however, if Audiophile Voice would be putting out Listener in the future. Can anyone shed light on this? I did ask if Art Dudley was still going to be editor and the answer was 'no'.

Good Lord, I hope Audiophile voice is not going to be doing Listener. That journal is grabage, with a capital G.

Listener is defunct. Sounds like we get AV in its place. Damn! Oh, well, mayb ethe increased circ will enable AV to improve.

It's likely that The Audiophile Voice bought Listener's subscription list, and that Listener subscription terms will be fulfilled by AV. This happened when Fi magazine went out of business about three years ago; I started receiving The Audiophile Voice instead (not without some warning).
Yeah, AV is a pretty bad magazine. I wouldn't pay money for it but back then I read it anyways...
Cheers
Keith.
