Apple Mac & UnitiServe

I use a Mac and iTunes for most of my music listening. I do not want use any third party programs or media players, so I can not playback FLAC and high resolution files. Will the UnitiServe allow me to playback FLAC and hires files without needing third party software on my Mac?

Assuming unitserve plays flac then no, you do not need thir party software running on the mac. Simply share the folder the flacs reside in.

The only place you might consider third party software is in ripping cds too flac, in which case I recommend XLD.
