hi: anyone done business with these guys in shrewsbury? what are they like? any views greatly appreciated -- this friend of mine who lives in shrewsbury is threatening to spend seriously on some big naim boxes... and he has asked me about one or 2 dealers already. so any info gratefully received.

Are pretty good.

I bought a CDi& a 72/180 off them many years ago and they were excellent. They also know how to service LP12's.

I can highly recommend Audio-Excellence in Worcester, Norman and Maurice have never been anything but helpful to me. They also do second hand stuff and part-ex.

dev B, jonathan, scott: many thanks for useful information which i will pass on. this friend of mine wants to buy a system similar to mine - he can actually afford a lot better. i have just managed to get him away from the "how many watts" decision criteria -- he doesnt seem to be too fussed about the idea of a demo -- but he is nervous being taken for a ride - previous bad experience with defective equipment he bought from a certain shop in tottenham ct rd, london!!!

any more info on creative, or others nearby, anyone??

Hi I've bought 180 and SBL's and Achiv from them rate them very highly. Took a friend there who bought a system from them as well (TEAC) verey impressed with service. Free with advice and can prove this via a dem. Apologies but I can't remeber the name of the chap with the beard but all the staff are excellent
