Replacement foam grill for Isobariks

Help

A pal of mine has a beautiful pair of Isobariks and unfortunately 2 kittens. 1 of the kittens has chewed a hole in a top foam grill. Has anyone got a spare or know where they can be obtained.

Try Linn. They might still have some available. I got mine replaced about 3 years ago when they took delivery of a new batch. They were expensive IMHO at about £150 pr.

Otherwise you could try Wilmslow Audio, although the 'style' and 'acoustics' might be slightly different to the Linn original.

Syd,

I had the same problem with our cats. They would always jump on top of the briks and mistake them for their scratchy pole.

Now I just keep a couple of planks on top of the briks when I am not using them. It stop the cats from scratching the grilles and placing their weight on the drivers.

I thought the Wilmslow prices are pretty reasonable. I think it was 17 pounds for a blank sheet slightly larger then the front grille.

cheers

The type of material is critical to the performance!
