Wierd, I guess it has something to do with periphal vision. I remember from biology that the eye has 2 types of sesonr, light sensitive (black and white) and colour sensitive. There are the most colour sensitive ones in the centre and more light sesitive ones towards the edge.
It doesn't work if I sit further back from the screen.
