Best sounding Blu Ray/DVD??

Avatar's the best I've heard so far.

I watched Book of Eli the other night and was blow away by the soundtrack.

I've watched over 60 blurays and the very best of all is definitely Avatar! Not only is it technically awesome but the artistic qualities of the audio effects are nothing short of amazing. To me, it sets a new standard in term of overall sound rendering, as did Saving Private Ryan a long time ago.

Cameron spent a long time on that film and it shows it. I liked the message too.


Now will Sigourney ever take a role where she's demur and hesitant? I doubt it.

To me too the best was Avatar.


But AKIRA's Blu-Ray with Japanese Dolby True HD sound only is UNBELIEVABLE !!!

The US Blu-Ray disk is zone free (got it for 25€ shipping included on ebay.com ;-) ) !
Best sound is Japanese Dolby True HD (and English subtitles).

English language is available but 5.1 DD only.


The Image is probably better than the DVD but it is no revolution but the sound is really INCREDIBLE ... Avatar's DTS master-HD's kiddo sound !

Terminator Salvation sounds pretty great, although I've only heard it in 2ch via Supernait, no complaints here though.

I now have Avatar and Terminator Salvation to put on my watching list!!

Yes, Avatar was Blu Ray. Terminator Salvation's also pretty wonderful in Blu Ray HD sound too.

Maybe you were so overwhelmed by the blow em up testosterone military that you missed the subtle aspect of spiritual identity being part of nature, NOT destroying it. Go out and hug a tree and compare it to hugging a tank.
